OH MY GOSH! That was my initial reaction when I heard that she'll be having a concert here in Manila. I told myself I cannot afford to miss it. I remember telling people that Kelly Clarkson is one of those artists that I will surely watch live when they visit Manila. and yesterday I've seen her perform live and one word for it FANTAST

Miguel Escueta was the front act and after he finished his set there was I think 45 more minutes of waiting for the star of the show. Lights went out and the band started playing, audience were all screaming their lungs out of course including myself. She went onstage and started singing ALL I EVER WANTED and the lights turned on her which made the audience all crazy. It was really amazing! Her voice really powerful! I swear I had goosebumps.
Oh I so love Kelly Clarkson!!! I was so happy about the fact that she performed even the songs from her previous albums- songs like Addicted, Sober, oh I love that song like what Kelly said she knows the song is kinda sad and depressing but many people got inspired because of the song. I can relate. :) Haha! Well, Kelly is very known for being the Queen of Pain in terms of her music but again like what she said "she's just real" and people can really relate to every word of her songs, but last night she sang one happy song from her All I Ever Wanted Album which is entitled I WANT YOU.. The song is really bubbly and she was able to connect to the audience well with this particular song.
But when talked about connecting with the audience, I believe she needed not to exert so much effort since her Filipino fans really love her and you can really hear the audience singing along with her. I personally was most excited to hear Behind These Hazel Eyes, I even thought the song would be great as her opening but nevertheless, she did not disappoint me at all. She performed the song with so much power.. I love the part wherein she let the audience sing the part
Here I am once again, I'm torn into pieces... you can hear really loud and clear. Bravo! I love Because of You too. She belted it out that wowed the Filipino audience. She's really great. I think I saw her drink water twice imagine 2 hours of belting every song which are all really hard then just drink water twice?!. Wow!
All in all, I love all the songs she performed also the energy of the audience specially in the song Since You've Been Gone, the whole of Araneta Coliseum was literally jumping up and down during the chorus of the song. Her last song was MY LIFE WOULD SUCK WITHOUT YOU. I was so mesmerized for two hours. I can't believe it's finished. I was still hoping she would come out again like what she did earlier when she got off the stage and people shouted more more more KELLY!!!! haha but of course the great experience had to end.
I love KELLY CLARKSON!!! LOL, I feel the need to say it once again. I hope she comes back again here in Manila! She's a great performer and no one can doubt that. The original and the best American Idol captured Manila's crowd.
